Nova Cell was created for the professional repair market: service centres, workshops and grading centres, where what matters is a repeatable result and a minimal number of warranty returns. Controlling the production ourselves means each batch behaves the same way as the previous one.
All Nova Cell cells are grade A+ with capacity increased over the stock one and a reinforced cathode. The line splits into three, and they differ in one thing only — the controller.

New cell, new BMS controller
An increased-capacity Nova Cell grade A+ cell with a new BMS controller: stable characteristics and reinforced protection circuits. Where the iPhone shows a manufacture date, the correct factory date (Normal Date) is used.

Why does the iPhone show "Used Part" after replacement?
That is how iOS behaves, not the condition of the part. iPhone marks any battery with a non-original controller this way. Nova Cell Diagnostic is a new battery: a new cell and a new BMS controller.
What is the difference between Diagnostic and Genuine Part?
The cell is the same. The difference is the controller: Diagnostic has a new BMS, Genuine has an original Apple controller that was removed and reflashed — which is why the phone reports the part as original.
